Independent Accountant

For our Client – a large, reputable, developing service company based in Gliwice – we are looking for candidates for the position of:

Independent Accountant

Workplace: Gliwice

Key responsibilities:

  • support to the Chief Accountant and the accounting department in financial and accounting processes,

  • preparation of financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annual) in accordance with applicable regulations and accounting standards,

  • participation in the preparation of CIT, PIT, VAT tax declarations,

  • current control and booking of documents,

  • contacts and cooperation with external institutions (Tax Office, Social Insurance Institution, Central Statistical Office, National Bank of Poland, banks, other financial institutions),

  • consultations and cooperation regarding new solutions and procedures,

  • creation of financial statements and reports,

  • cooperation with other departments within the company.

Requirements:

  • higher education in economics,

  • min. 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar position or an independent accounting position,

  • very good knowledge of Polish and international accounting standards,

  • current knowledge of tax regulations, the Accounting Act, and the ability to apply them in practice,

  • knowledge of full accounting,

  • very good knowledge of the MS Office suite, especially MS Excel, and accounting software,

  • strong analytical thinking skills and effective problem-solving abilities,

  • independence, responsibility, ability to work in a team,

  • highly developed interpersonal skills.
