Independent Accountant / Independent Bookkeeper

We are looking for an independent accountant/bookkeeper located in the center of Łódź, experienced in managing a team. The job is stationary from Monday to Friday with flexible start times. We encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Independent management of full accounting for Polish companies, including foreign capital;
• SUPPORTING the Manager in managing a 3-person team of accountants;
• Ppreparing tax declarations: VAT (including EU VAT), CIT, PIT-8AR, ORD-U, IFT-1R, IFT-2R;
• Issuing invoices, including foreign currency invoices;
• Independent preparation of financial reports;
• Ppreparing reports for clients, including balance sheets and income statements;
• Preparing reports for NBP and GUS;
• Cooperation with auditors and authorities (US, ZUS);
• Accounting and settlement of foreign transactions (WNT, WDT, import services, export).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (finance, accounting, economics or related);
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting and team management;
• Very good knowledge of English (at least B2);
• Knowledge of applicable laws regarding accounting, VAT, and CIT;
• Very good organization skills and self-reliance in action;
• Possession of Sage 50c software knowledge is highly desirable.
