Salesforce Tester (2–4 Years Experience) — Bengaluru

Position Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Salesforce Manual Tester to join our growing team in Bengaluru. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong passion for ensuring software quality and has hands-on experience working with Salesforce platforms such as Classic, Lightning, and Communities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for validating all aspects of Salesforce applications — from standard out-of-the-box functionalities to complex customizations built using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product owners, to make sure our Salesforce solutions meet business requirements, function flawlessly, and provide the best possible user experience.

As part of an Agile/Scrum setup, you will be engaged in sprint activities, requirement discussions, test planning, defect tracking, and test reporting. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative approach are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, review, and execute manual test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of requirements.

• Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing for Salesforce applications.

• Validate Salesforce configurations, customizations, and workflows — including Apex triggers, Lightning components, Flows, Validation Rules, and Process Builders.

• Ensure data accuracy and consistency during migrations, deployments, and system enhancements.

• Verify integrations between Salesforce and external platforms such as ERP, middleware systems, or third-party APIs.

• Document test results clearly and prepare reports for stakeholders, highlighting issues, risks, and recommendations.

• Log and track defects in tools like JIRA, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies — daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives — providing meaningful input from a testing perspective.

• Stay informed about Salesforce releases and assess the potential impact of upcoming changes on existing systems.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–4 years of manual testing experience with a strong focus on Salesforce applications.

• Solid understanding of the Salesforce data model and the difference between configuration and customization.

• Experience in multiple testing approaches: functional, integration, regression, UAT, and exploratory testing.

• Knowledge of test case design techniques and best practices.

• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA or TestRail.

• Strong problem-solving ability and analytical thinking.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, Agile environment.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Salesforce Certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder.

• Awareness of API testing concepts and tools like Postman.

• Experience in domains like manufacturing, logistics, or AI-enabled workflows.

• Basic familiarity with modern testing practices such as exploratory testing, impact analysis, and risk-based testing.
