About the role
As the Salesforce Lead, you will lead the design, development and ongoing optimisation of Salesforce solutions that support AMP New Zealand Wealth Management’s customer, adviser and operational outcomes.
You will provide technical leadership across Salesforce delivery, with a focus on scalable solution design, integration, configuration and engineering practices. Working closely with product owners, business stakeholders and delivery teams, you will help translate business needs into secure, maintainable Salesforce capability.
Far from being a people leader removed from the technology, you will remain actively involved in solution design and hands-on delivery while taking on greater responsibility for technical leadership. You will support and mentor team members, guide engineering decisions, and contribute to the delivery of reliable, customer-focused Salesforce solutions across the AMP technology ecosystem.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Ability to identify strategic needs, collaborate on planning and provide sound business and technical recommendations
- Strong Salesforce technical experience, including solution design, configuration, integration and delivery
- Experience leading teams using SCRUM and Agile methodologies
- Ability and willingness to challenge the status quo to deliver long-term change and improvements
- Extensive experience building effective relationships with product owners, technology teams and key business stakeholders
- Passionate about delivery and accustomed to driving business-critical programmes to success
- A seasoned expert in designing, developing and debugging Salesforce solutions, with strong API and data integration skills preferred
