Sales Manager || Product || Bengaluru

Responsibilities:
• Sales & Business Development
o Identify and target engineering colleges, technical universities, and academic
research institutions.
o Generate and qualify leads through cold calls, industry connects, expos, and
inbound inquiries.
o Drive the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
o Develop customized proposals and presentations to demonstrate how EduBot
aligns with the institution's academic goals.
• Client Engagement & Consultative Selling
o Engage with Deans, HODs, Lab Directors, and Institutional Procurement
Committees.
o Understand curriculum needs and integrate EduBot as a part of the
STEM/robotics/automation syllabus.
o Conduct technical and commercial discussions, demos, and workshops as required.
• Sales Planning & Reporting
o Maintain an up-to-date pipeline and accurate forecasting.
o Prepare regular sales reports, market feedback, and competitor insights.
o Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Skills and Qualifications:

Good to Have
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; MBA/PDBM in Marketing or related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in B2B sales of lab/engineering/scientific equipment to educational
institutions.
• Proven experience in closing high-value deals (INR 10L to INR 4Cr range).
• Strong network in academia (engineering/technical institutions).
• Strong technical understanding of engineering/robotics-related equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate institutional sales processes and tender-based procurement.
• Self-driven, with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

• Experience working with robotics, automation, or IoT-related educational products.
• Familiarity with AICTE/NAAC/UGC norms and how labs are set up in Indian institutions.
• Exposure to government-funded research programs or education missions.
