Sales Estimator - Fencing and Construction

Due to ongoing expansion and the upcoming retirement of valued team members, we're on the lookout for energetic and motivated Sales Estimators to join our Head Office in Toongabbie.

In this role, you'll work closely with clients and contractors on some of NSW's biggest fencing and construction projects. From scoping and pricing to managing tenders and converting leads, you'll play a key part in delivering high-quality outcomes while driving business growth.

What You'll Do

Scope, measure, and price fencing and gate projects (both on-site and in-office)

Prepare accurate and competitive quotes for domestic, rural, and commercial clients

Manage tenders from start to finish - from submission to purchase order

Convert leads into sales through strong relationship building and follow-up

Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery

Research market trends and set pricing to ensure profitability

Source new clients and tenders through marketing platforms and networking

Prepare drawings and documentation for client approval using AutoCAD or SketchUp
What You'll Bring

2+ years of estimating or sales experience (construction or fencing preferred)

Strong knowledge of fencing types, materials, and installation methods - essential

Excellent measurement skills (including rakes and angles)

Proven ability to negotiate and close sales confidently

Ability to read plans and complete tenders independently

Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Analytical thinker with problem-solving ability

Confident computer literacy (AutoCAD/SketchUp experience advantageous)

Current Driver's Licence - essential

Experience in glass, balustrading, or specialty works - a plus
