Sales Engineer (Querétaro, MX)

The Sales Engineer function is to promote John Crane's various product ranges and provide solutions to all types of engineering sealing problems, achieving a partnership with customers that improves process and equipment reliability, directed at meeting quality, service, and customer commitments, as well as supporting company growth and profitability.

• Develop, manage, and execute a sales plan aligned with the commercial strategy defined and aimed at meeting the sales budget defined.
• Generate and ensure new business, achieving the best conditions for sale (price, contribution margin, and delivery time).
• Visit clients in offices, production plants, and other facilities.
• Attend National and International Public Tenders.
• Foster a relationship of trust with customers (especially key people and decision-makers) to generate added value that, together with high-level proposals, positions John Crane products in the market.
• Develop and present high-level proposals to our clients, both technically and commercially, through product pricing within the John Crane portfolio. To represent the best option for purchase.
• Develop a purchase order checklist indicating internal John Crane terms of what needs to be supplied and/or enter the sales order into the SAP system.
• In case you don't have the part number of what's going to be supplied, generate an I-projects for Engineering to provide us with the part number or parent code we need.
• Deliver material once it's ready.
• Enter invoices for review and payment.
• Repair/install mechanical seals in the field when required.
• Maintain and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Perform other activities required of your position.
