Job description
The Sales Engineer is responsible for representing the brand and following up with new and existing clients from start to finish until a project sale is finalized.
1. 4 years as a Sales Engineer.
2. Mecatronics, Industrial, or related Engineering degree, certified.
3. Bilingual
4. Assertive communication, perseverance, frustration tolerance.
5. Windows, Office, ERP, applications, basic knowledge of Robotics, turnkey projects, closing deals.
Tasks to develop:
1. Represents the company's products and services and provides sales support in response to the end customer and the system.
2. Evaluates and qualifies suitable applications for Robot usage and identifies KUKA robot system solutions according to the Customer's requirements.
3. Manages current accounts and develops new accounts to generate sales growth, profitability, market share, and customer service.
4. Focuses on, follows up with, and grows global accounts and strategies previously defined by KUKA.
5. Identifies “Key Players” within each of the Customers.
6. Ability to prospect for future projects or investments that may require automation processes with Robots.
7. Ability to proactively generate sales of KUKA Robots.
8. Ability to identify and recommend possible improvements in current automation processes during customer visits.
9. Identifies and gathers all necessary technical information from the Customer and transfers it to the sales support area for the correct issuance of the commercial offer.
10. Prepares for various possible scenarios during the sales closing process.
11. Provides limited post-sale project coordination with operations and customer service.
12. Reasoning ability to identify and prioritize opportunities related to the KUKA Robot product line.
13. Ability to write reports, proposals, presentations, and sales materials.
14. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific knowledge and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
15. Ability to read electrical and control prints typical of factory automation systems.
16. Mathematical ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
