Sales Engineer – India

Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive Sales Engineer to support our business expansion in India. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing sales activities, bridging the gap between the engineering and sales teams. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage with customers to identify needs, propose solutions, and drive business growth. Major Job Responsibilities and Duties: 1. Presales & Technical Support: Provide technical support to customers and internal stakeholders through phone, email, or in-person meetings. This includes troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and providing product demonstrations. 2. Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies, provide product knowledge, and identify new business opportunities. 3. Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their needs, propose solutions, and drive business growth through upselling, cross-selling, or new business development. 4. Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and product development. 5. Reporting & Analysis: Compile and analyze sales data, market research, and customer feedback to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. • Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Technical Support, or a related role. • Strong technical knowledge of software applications, hardware platforms, and networking technologies. • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
