Sales Consultant

RPO's client is actively seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to join their team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional to grow within a dynamic environment.

This is a full-time, onsite position, reporting to the Blowpack Sales Manager.

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Understand customer needs and provide tailored packaging solutions.
• Handle customer complaints efficiently.
• Go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Proactively manage a four-weekly customer visit plan.

• Prepare accurate weekly sales forecasts.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Source new business and grow sales in line with company strategy.

• Compile monthly sales reports and analyze variances.
• Provide sales forecasts to ensure stock availability.
• Manage price increases and ensure accurate price tables.
• Conduct customer surveys and gather feedback.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends.

• 2-3 years of sales experience.
• Marketing or Sales Qualification (Degree advantageous).
• Proven track record in sales.
• Ability to prepare budgets and set targets.
• FMCG sales experience is essential.
• Experience in the plastics/packaging industry is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven.
