Sales Consultant & Key Account Manager

A well-established leader in the water storage solutions industry is seeking a dynamic Sales Consultant & Key Account Manager to join their team in Maxmead, Durban. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in managing key accounts, building lasting client relationships, and driving revenue growth in competitive, technical sales environments. • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts within the commercial and construction sectors.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, site visits, and client referrals.
• Develop tailored solutions to meet customer needs, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely project delivery and service excellence.
• Prepare and present detailed sales proposals, tenders, and quotations.
• Track sales performance and prepare regular reports on sales activities and targets.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, market trends, and competitor activity.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in the water tank, construction, or commercial water storage industries.
• Proven ability to manage key client relationships and drive business growth.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain product specifications.
• Excellent time management, organisational, and follow-up skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet targets.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel when required.
