The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional in-showroom customer experience by converting customer visits into sales through effective product demonstration, needs analysis, and accurate order processing. The role focuses on frontline sales execution, customer service, administrative tasks, and ensuring a high level of store appearance and cleanliness. Key responsibilities include: • Providing exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. • Conducting needs analyses with customers to identify their requirements and preferences. • Demonstrating products effectively to showcase features and benefits. • Processing orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers. • Maintaining a high level of store appearance and cleanliness, including restocking shelves and tidying displays. • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and improve customer service. • Participating in visual merchandising and store layout planning to create an attractive shopping environment. • Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products to customers. • Maintaining accurate records of sales, stock levels, and customer interactions. • Adhering to company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling, security, and health and safety. Requirements: • Matric or equivalent qualification. • 1-2 years' experience in a retail environment, preferably in sales or customer service. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Basic arithmetic skills and ability to handle cash accurately. • Willingness to learn and adapt to new products, processes, and technologies.
