This function concerns a flexible hour schedule with a minimum of 24 hours per week, which can up to 35 hours per week depending on the needs of the store and your availability. We are looking for a colleague who is willing to work flexibly, including weekends, shopping days, and peak periods, and who wants to engage long-term in a dynamic retail environment.

A day in life

As sales associate, you are responsible for excellent customer service: welcoming customers, advising, and guiding with your fashion and product knowledge. You ensure a tidy store by replenishing clothing and maintaining the presentation. Together with your team, you contribute to optimal customer experience.

Working at H&M means that no day is the same, but a typical day consists of the following responsibilities:

Sales and profit:

• Excellent customer service provide: welcome customers and guide them through the store & OMNI experience as soon as it's available, support them with direct customer service.
• Bereid to go into conversation with customers to guide them through our fashion trends, stories & products throughout the store, and so provide excellent customer service.
• Actively promote our customer loyalty app (Hello Member) & sustainability initiatives in-store.
• Support the store management team with commercial or operational actions to achieve sales targets.
• Jezelf and the H&M brand positively represent during all interactions with customers.

Fashion and trend awareness:

• Stay up-to-date on the fashion image, trends, tendencies, styles, brands, products, competitors, and relevant influencers, etc.
• Use your product and fashion knowledge to share relevant information with customers.

Team & Development:

• Maintain and share your knowledge and skills in the areas of service, fashion, and store activities with colleagues.
• Give and receive feedback with your colleagues to learn, develop, and support each other.
• Participate in relevant available trainings, such as; Onboarding, introduction processes & training courses that are relevant for your role and future development.

Retail Operations/ Visual & Commercial execution:

• Complete the full clothing cycle of unpacking and replenishing and ensure good clothing care, inventory levels with replenishment routines on the sales floor.
• Operate cash registers and kiosks according to H&M standards and procedures.
• Contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor (including storage areas).
• Support in-store OMNI Services & in-store technical services/tools, etc. (Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store, etc.)
• Support opening and closing the store.
• Fully follow all H&S guidelines and legal requirements applicable to the role and responsibilities.
