Sales and Marketing Manager

Job Description The Leisure Sales & Marketing Manager will drive the commercial success of a new luxury lodge located within Addo Game Reserve, scheduled to open in Q2 2026. Reporting to the General Manager, with a dotted line to the global commercial leadership team, the role focuses on building strong luxury leisure trade relationships, implementing innovative marketing strategies, and ensuring the lodge is well-positioned pre and post-opening. Based in Cape Town, Johannesburg, or Port Elizabeth, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing plan, including social media, email marketing, and influencer partnerships. This will involve collaborating with the lodge's operations team to ensure seamless integration of marketing initiatives with the overall business strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the luxury leisure industry, with experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the hospitality or tourism sector. Key responsibilities will include: • Developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive occupancy and revenue growth • Building and maintaining relationships with key luxury leisure trade partners, including travel agents, tour operators, and luxury travel companies • Collaborating with the lodge's operations team to ensure effective integration of marketing initiatives with the overall business strategy • Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to inform marketing decisions • Developing and managing a budget for marketing initiatives • Providing regular reporting and insights to the General Manager and global commercial leadership team • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
