BRAZING WELDER / MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER IN ABBIATEGRASSO

For a leading company in the production of medical devices in Abbiategrasso, we are selecting a brazing welder/mechanical assembler to strengthen our team.

Technical Skills Required (Hard Skills)

1. Brazing (Copper and Brass)

• Torch Technique: Mastery of the oxyacetylene torch for joining copper and brass pipes and

components.

• Filler Material Management: Knowledge and use of specific alloys (e.g., silver alloys) and

their respective fluxes to ensure clean and strong joints.

• Capillarity and Fusion: Ability to control fusion temperatures (typically between

600°C and 900°C) to ensure proper alloy penetration.

• Preparation: pipe cutting, deburring. Use of appropriate machinery (cutters, deburrers,

drills, angle grinder).

2. Mechanical Fitting and Assembly

• Reading Technical Drawings: Ability to interpret assembly diagrams and construction specifications.

• Tools: Expert use of bench tools (torque wrenches, screwdrivers) and

measuring instruments (calipers).

3. Pneumatic Leak Testing and Commissioning

• Pressure Tests: Execution of tests with nitrogen or compressed air to verify the absence of

micro-leaks in the circuits.

• Control Systems: Use of pressure gauges, leak detectors, or test baths for final

commissioning.

• Diagnostics: Ability to promptly identify any welding or assembly defects and

correct them.

• Documentation: Completion of commissioning sheets or conformity reports.

Requirements and Soft Skills

• Brazing Certificate: Possession of UNI

EN ISO 13585 certification is a strong added value.

• Manual Dexterity: Essential for working on thin materials and precision components.

• Safety: Knowledge of PPE regulations for protection from welding fumes and optical

radiations.

WORK LOCATION: ABBIATEGRASSO.

WORK SCHEDULE: FULL TIME FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY.

PLACEMENT: WITH A FIXED-TERM CONTRACT C01 METALMECHANICAL CCNL WITH THE AIM OF PERMANENT EMPLOYMENT AND A GROSS ANNUAL SALARY BETWEEN 20K AND 30K.
