Welder Carpenter

Hofmann Staffing Solutions, is searching for a company client operating in the metalworking sector: WELDER CARPENTER - MACHINE OPERATORS. The selected resource will be inserted into the production department and will perform the following tasks: - Repairs and carpentry work on equipment, components, and/or structural parts of machine operators (earth movement sector), in the workshop or construction site - Ensures the quality of welding by adopting the most suitable technique based on the material of the components worked and their intended use, respecting the manufacturer's procedures - Performs turning and boring works, managing interference tolerances - Manages the necessary tools for the execution of all carpentry and welding work (Bareno, Tornio, wire welder, scraper, plasma cutter, oxyacetylene torch, liquid nitrogen, etc.) Furthermore, the sought-after figure must be able to prepare and treat materials such as steel, cast iron, high-strength steels, etc. REQUIREMENTS: - Technical or professional training in mechanical or welding field - Mastery of wire continuous welding, electrode or TIG techniques. Ability to weld on thick materials and subject to heavy loads and ability to weld in difficult environments (welding vertically, in narrow spaces or outdoors). - Skill in oxyacetylene cutting and plasma cutting - Technical competence in the mechanical field, preferably related to products and applications in the sector of machine operators (earth movement, cranes, agricultural machines, industrial vehicles, etc...) - Good reading skills for technical drawings and welding symbols. - Knowledge of techniques to avoid deformations/cracks in points subject to strong solicitations (blade, arms, articulations, etc.) and of activities of rework and boring of materials Completing the sought-after profile: - Ability to use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, squares - Mastery of non-destructive testing (e.g. liquid penetrants) - Attitude to work according to processes and procedures, autonomous operation and precision and attention to details Availability for occasional travel is required SI OFFERS: Insertion on a fixed-term/indeterminate basis, level and remuneration will be commensurate with the real experience gained (indicative RAL: 33,000 - 35,000) Working hours: full-time daily, from Monday to Friday Place of work: Lallio (BG) Sector: Metalworking Industry Role: Production Type of occupation: Indeterminate contract
