Safety Officer – Construction & Property Development

Our client, an established construction and property development firm operating across Cape Town, is seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations across their construction sites. This role is critical to maintaining the highest safety standards and fostering a culture of zero harm across all project activities..

Requirements:

• National Diploma in Safety Management
• SACPCMP registered
• SAMTRAC (Safety Management Training Course)
• NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health)
• First Aid Level 2 or 3 certification
• Fire Fighting certification
• Incident Investigation certification
• ISO 45001 or OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor
• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Safety Officer in construction environment
• Hands-on site-based safety management experience
• Experience across various construction project types
• Track record of maintaining safety compliance and reducing incidents
• Valid driver's license
