Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Install and secure safety netting systems, ensuring compliance with industry safety standards
- Inspect and assess netting installations for wear, damage, or required adjustments
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and replacements of netting components as needed
- Assist in conducting risk assessments and hazard identification relating to safety netting
- Follow workplace safety procedures and ensure all installations conform with Work Health & Safety (WHS) requirements
- Prepare job reports, documentation, and communicate with supervisors about site conditions
- Coordinate with site teams and other trades to ensure timely project completion
- Support the setup of access equipment (ladders, scaffolding, lifts) as required for safe installation
- Relevant qualification in a trade or technical field
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Safety Netting Technician or similar technician/trade role
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and installation techniques
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and drawings
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Physically fit with the ability to perform manual tasks at heights
