Safety Manager - Oil Tanker/FPSO, China

Are you a Chief Officer with sailing background on oil tankers and shore based experience in the HSEQ Department of either a shipyard or a shipping company? This is a great opportunity to be part of a FSO project (18 month contract) in China with rotation in their HQ in Singapore. Key Accountabilities: HSSE Regulation and Standards Management: Develop, update, and implement HSSE policies, frameworks, and standards tailored for EPCI sites. Continuously strengthen the organization’s forward-thinking approach to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to HSSE performance. Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement. Provide training and guidance to employees on HSSE policies, procedures, and best practices. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with HSSE standards. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, customers, and suppliers.
