Position Summary As a project-based position, the Safety Coordinator is responsible for providing on-site safety coordination and support to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. This includes conducting site visits, monitoring and reporting on job site hazards, identifying and implementing corrective actions, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct site visits to monitor and report on job site hazards and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. • Identify and implement corrective actions to mitigate or eliminate identified hazards. • Ensure that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner, including incident reports, safety meetings minutes, and training records. • Provide on-site support and coordination to ensure effective implementation of safety programs and procedures. • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure open communication and collaboration. • Participate in the development and maintenance of company-wide safety policies, procedures, and programs. • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve safety performance. • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., operations, HR) to ensure that safety is integrated into all aspects of the business.
