Job description

We are looking for you!

You work structured, are very secure in Excel, have experience in dealing with ERP/PIM systems and a developed sense of quality awareness? Then support our team in setting up and maintaining product data in our ERP system – full-time or part-time.

Since the topic is complex and we place great value on clean data, we are looking for someone who wants to support us long-term. A thorough induction is self-evident at our company.

About us

We are Giseke GmbH & Co. KG and have been active in the online battery trade for over 30 years. With our headquarters in Berlin-Pankow and international presence, we belong to the leading battery wholesalers in Germany and Europe.

What sets us apart: Team spirit, short distances, and a high degree of automation. Our product data is largely maintained centrally in our ERP system and then automatically transferred to our sales channels. Additionally, we use partially own tools to efficiently manage content such as bullet points or translations. Furthermore, AI systems are used for workflow simplification.

Tasks

Position: Employee (m/w/d) Article Arrangement & Product Data Administration

In this role, you will ensure that our product data in the ERP system is complete, consistent, and structured – as a basis for smooth processes and a professional appearance in all channels.

Your tasks

  • New article setup and maintenance in the ERP system (e.g. structures, attributes, variants, basic data, maintenance of different VK prices)
  • Excel-based list management and quality checks (e.g. filters, evaluations, plausibility checks, deviations found)
  • Implementation of mass changes according to clear standards (with a special focus on accuracy and data integrity)
  • Ensure high data quality: completeness, consistency, plausibility, standard conformity
  • Coordination with procurement, warehouse, and other departments if information is missing or needs to be clarified
  • Participation in standards, templates, and checklists to further stabilize and simplify our workflows

Qualification

What you should bring

  • Diploma or degree in a commercial or technical field
  • Very secure handling of Excel (lists, filters, evaluations; ideally also pivot/SVERWEIS or XVERWEIS – not necessarily required, but very helpful)
  • Developed sense of quality awareness and a very precise and meticulous working style (you have an eye for deviations and inconsistencies)
  • Structure, reliability, and the willingness to immerse yourself in complex processes
  • Experience in product data administration/article setup/ERP systems is a great strength – especially if you know it from online trade/e-commerce
  • Technical affinity
  • Good German language skills and teamwork

Benefits

What we have to offer

  • Unlimited employment contract in a dynamic company
  • Thorough induction and fixed contact persons – we leave no one alone in the system
  • Lax, but professional working atmosphere
  • We are a small 10-person team
  • Efficient, automated workflows and modern tools (partially own developments)
  • Space for your ideas in implementing tasks
  • Flat hierarchy and fast decision-making processes
  • Flexibility in scheduling is possible
  • Good location with easy access to public transportation in Berlin-Pankow
  • Employee discounts, multiple company events per year

Application process

Please send your application with CV, if necessary, references and a photo, simply directly via this job portal.

The process

  1. Review: We take a look at your documents and contact you promptly.
  2. First meeting: In a relaxed conversation, we get to know each other and discuss the role, your strengths, and your wishes.
  3. Sneak peek days (optional): So that you can realistically learn about the task field, we offer a sneak peek day – if desired, even two consecutive sneak peek days.
  • You will be accompanied directly and have a fixed contact person.
  • Questions are explicitly welcome – it's about insight and mutual getting-to-know-you.
  1. Decision: After the meeting, we decide promptly. Regardless of the outcome, you will receive direct feedback.

Expected start date: to be agreed upon
Type of position: Full-time or part-time possible
Work location: On-site (Berlin-Pankow)
Language: German (required)
