Payroll and Salary Accountant (m/w/d)
Job description
DELLNER BUBENZER is a global leader in the development and production of braking systems for various industries, including bulk handling, crane and hoist equipment, container handling, mining, marine, industry, offshore, oil and gas, as well as wind energy.
We are currently looking to strengthen our team in Kirchen with a dedicated payroll and salary accountant (m/w/d) at the earliest possible time. In this versatile position, you will not only be responsible for conducting monthly payroll and salary accounting, but also actively shape central HR processes. This includes introducing and maintaining a grading system, ensuring compliance with the wage transparency act, processing travel expense accounts, and managing time tracking.
Tasks
- Sole responsibility for conducting monthly payroll and salary accounting, taking into account all tax, social security, and labor law regulations
- Maintenance and control of relevant data for accounting purposes
- Contact person for employees, management, health insurance companies, authorities, and external service providers in all matters related to accounting
- Introduction, development, and continuous maintenance of a company-wide grading system to ensure transparent and traceable remuneration structures
- Participation in implementing and monitoring the requirements of the wage transparency act, as well as supporting inquiries and audit processes
- Processing, reviewing, and accounting for travel expenses according to internal guidelines and tax regulations
- Maintenance and control of time tracking, including absence management and account management
- Preparation of (SV-) certificates, reports, and statements, as well as supporting monthly and annual closing activities
Qualification
- Completed commercial training, ideally with further education in the field of remuneration accounting, personnel management or payroll accounting
- Multiple years of experience in payroll and salary accounting
- In-depth knowledge of labor law, social security law, and tax law
- Experience working with time management and accounting systems (ZeusX & Datev) as well as excellent MS-Office skills
- Understanding of remuneration structures, job evaluation or grading systems is an advantage
- Knowledge of the requirements of the wage transparency act or willingness to delve deeper into this topic
- Meticulous, structured, and discreet working style, as well as a high sense of responsibility
- Communication skills, service orientation, and joy in collaboration with different stakeholders
