Financial Management / Financial Accountant (m/f/d)

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Financial Management / Financial Accountant (m/f/d) in Brandenburg an der Havel.

Tasks

• Preparation of monthly business evaluations and internal reporting (cash flow, forecasts, cost center evaluations)
• Assistance in the preparation of annual budgets on a cost center basis
• Participation in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB (German Commercial Code)
• Monitoring and support of ongoing financial accounting, including accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting
• Participation in the further development of digital accounting processes
• Collaboration with auditors, tax advisors and other institutions
• Close cooperation with department heads (D) as well as with the finance team of the parent company (UK) in reviewing budget compliance, preparing monthly reports, and preparing the rolling forecast

Qualifications

• Completed commercial training, preferably several years of experience in finance or accounting
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Confident handling of Microsoft Office programs
• Experience with Datev and Lucanet desirable
• Passion for the development and design of new digital processes and systems
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills
