Data Center Technician sought in Frankfurt

We are looking for a Data Center Technician to expand and maintain the stable operation of data center infrastructure based on DELL Enterprise Systems. The focus lies on the operation, maintenance, and technical development of DELL-based compute and storage platforms in the data center.

Tasks

• Operation, maintenance, and administration of DELL Compute or DELL ECS infrastructure
• Carrying out installations, configurations, as well as firmware- and software updates
• Monitoring, error analysis, and troubleshooting in the data center environment
• Collaboration in hardware lifecycle (rollouts, replacement, expansions)
• Creating and maintaining documentation
• Tight cooperation with operation teams and architecture
• Support for optimization, standardization, and automation

Qualification

• 3-5 years of experience with DELL Enterprise Hardware
• Experience in operation, error analysis, and data center processes
• Structured working method and secure documentation
• German language skills for coordination and operation
• Willingness to undergo security clearance level Ü2 (SÜ2-Geheim)

DELL certifications or verifiable in-depth experience in the area

• DELL Compute: PowerEdge, MX-Series, iDRAC, OpenManage Enterprise
  or

• DELL ECS (Elastic Cloud Storage)

• Experience in firmware- and BIOS-management, monitoring, and hardware operation

• Mult-year experience in the data center environment
