West Coast Roving Rural Nurse Specialist position covering from Karamea to Haast Permanent part – time working between 40 and 64 hours per fortnight Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders. About the Role As a Roving Rural Nurse Specialist (RNS), you will deliver holistic, culturally appropriate, and comprehensive care to a geographically defined population — including rural communities, Maori and Pacific populations, and other diverse groups. You will work closely with local healthcare providers, community leaders, and stakeholders to develop and implement effective health strategies that meet the unique needs of these communities. This role is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of New Zealanders, particularly those living in rural areas.
