Job Description Job title: Room Attendant Department: Housekeeping Inspired & supported by: Executive Housekeeper Salary: £16,20 (including service charge) Morning shifts: 08:30 - 17:00 Evening shifts: 14:30 - 23:00 Your purpose will be: To take pride in creating the finest presentation of guest bedrooms and public areas of the hotel, ensuring consistency in our standards and exceeding guest expectations at all times. You will begin by specialising in guest rooms and have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge across various departments within the hotel. This role is perfect for those who are looking for a flexible working arrangement and want to gain valuable experience in the hospitality industry. Your responsibilities will include: • Cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas to the highest standards. • Ensuring all rooms are fully stocked with amenities and linens. • Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of linen stores and laundry facilities. • Assisting with the preparation of meeting spaces and events as required. • Providing exceptional customer service to guests, responding promptly to their requests and resolving any issues that may arise. • Working effectively as part of a team to achieve departmental goals and objectives. • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any discrepancies or issues to management. Your skills and qualifications: • Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities. • Basic knowledge of hotel operations and procedures.
