Rolling Stock Maintenance Project Manager (m/f)

Could you be the full-time hybrid Rolling Stock Maintenance Project Manager in Warsaw, PL we’re looking for? Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, collaborative, and innovative teammates. You'll be accountable for project QCDP performance and optimize Project Financial performance (Margin & Cash). Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Management, Engineering, Finance), lead and coordinate project activities and stakeholders from transfer to close-out, and much more. You’ll specifically take care of ensuring continuous alignment with customer contractual requirements and proactive risk management, but also managing resources and maintaining transparency in project KPIs reporting. We’ll look to you for:
  • Technical knowledge in the maintenance of rolling stock (locomotives, wagons) - maintenance levels P1-P5

  • Accountability for project QCDP performance and optimization of Project Financial performance (Margin & Cash)

  • Responsibility for project governance, including PMP elaboration and objectives allocation to Sub-Systems

  • Leadership in team coordination, including Core Team and Project Managers of internal and external partners

  • Management of resources, ensuring project core team staffing is defined in advance and escalating resource discrepancies

  • Arbitration of Q,C,D,P re-baselining and change management at the project level, including management of claims and litigations if needed

  • Proactive risk, saving, and opportunity management

  • Transparency in project progress and KPIs reporting to senior management

  • Ensuring continuous alignment with customer contractual requirements and management of variation orders

  • Representation of Alstom towards customers and external stakeholders when applicable

  • Adherence to Alstom's Code of Ethics & Compliance, EHS, Railway Safety, Quality, and Project Management Manual

  • Master’s Degree, preferably in a railway-related area

  • Technical knowledge in the maintenance of rolling stock (locomotives, wagons) - maintenance levels P1-P5

  • Fluency in Polish and English

  • Experience as a sub-system/component manager or qualified project manager or manager of an operational scope

  • Project management skills

  • Team management (capacity to coordinate and ensure collaboration of multi-site/multi-metier teams)

  • Good communication skills

  • Leadership, entrepreneurship mindset and result-oriented approach

  • Good knowledge of project management processes

  • Knowledge of railway products and systems

  • Ability to manage customer relationships

  • Negotiation skills
