We are looking for a Specialist Piping Equipment / Rohrbau (w/m/d) (EB) - Basel. Background At our location in Basel as well as in Kaiseraugst, the Operations & Maintain Assets department is responsible for the smooth operation of buildings and technical facilities. Within the circle of Technical Solutions & Maintenance, high-quality technical solutions and professional workshop and maintenance services are provided. To strengthen the team, we are looking for a qualified equipment builder with a focus on piping for use in the chemical and infrastructure sectors. The main workplace is Basel, occasional assignments in Kaiseraugst are possible. Your tasks In this function, you will take on various technical activities in the context of production and infrastructure facilities: - Troubleshooting and performing maintenance, repair, and upgrade work - Planning, manufacturing, and assembly of piping systems based on isometric drawings - TIG welding of chrome-nickel steel pipes as well as welding of black pipes - Application of orbital welding techniques - Active recognition of safety-relevant topics and cost-conscious action - Consulting internal customers and developing economically sensible solutions Collaboration & Responsibility - Coordination with suppliers and independent material procurement - Participation in interdisciplinary teams and contribution to technical projects - Working and documenting according to GMP guidelines - Active knowledge transfer and ensuring the information flow within the departments - Independent work in self-organized teams - Willingness for continuous further education and technical development Your Profile ?
