Robot Deployment Engineer (w/m/x)

Your Tasks

• You will operate our autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) with tasks in the areas of hardware and software to ensure reliable installations on-site with the customer.
• You will analyze, diagnose, and solve complex and exciting robotic problem-solving and document, as well as test the implemented solutions.
• You will test our continuously updated AMRs regarding performance, stability, and customer satisfaction.
• You will work closely with our internal project and development teams, as well as selected external stakeholders.
• You will prepare several AMR demonstrations and take care of their commissioning, as well as the maintenance during global events/fairs.
• You will train customers and other implementation teams in the handling of our products.
• You will support our global customer support teams as needed.
• Up to 80% of your working time will be spent at our customers or events/fairs in Germany and other European countries, while the remaining 20% will be used for the further development of internal tools and processes in the head or home office.

Your Profile

• You have a completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in robotics, computer science, mechatronics, or a comparable degree.
• You have a valid German driving license of class B.
• You can demonstrate at least two successfully completed projects with mobile robots, preferably using ROS.
• You are advanced in Python and have ideal knowledge of C++.
• You bring a good basic understanding of mechanics, electronic systems, networks, and Linux administration.
• You have first experiences with GIT.
• You convince with a hands-on mentality when approaching complex problems.
• You are willing to travel up to 80% of your time – both nationally and internationally.
• You are confident in English and have basic knowledge of the German language.
