Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician Join the team that keeps the UK moving. As a Roadside Technician, you’ll receive: A market-competitive base salary of £35,000 and a realistic OTE of £60,000, with top-performers earning significantly more through bonuses and enhanced overtime rates. Start and finish on your driveway. Demand-led shifts averaging 40 hours per week, with optional overtime available. What you'll do: Attend breakdowns, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs at the roadside. Provide a first-class service to our members, keeping them informed throughout the process. Ensure a safe working environment and adhere to all health and safety guidelines. Complete all paperwork and administration accurately and efficiently. About you: A full UK driving license. Proven experience in vehicle mechanics and diagnostics. Excellent communication and customer service skills. A proactive and problem-solving attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A positive and can-do attitude. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
