Road Service Manager

In view of the impending retirement of the current holder, the Municipality of Yvorne is announcing a position for Road Service Manager. General description of the function: organize and lead the work of the Road Service and its work programs, maintenance and sanitation (waste, EU/EC networks), execute various works related to the maintenance of public infrastructures (public domain, parks, cemetery), oversee plant health policing/supervise the pruning of trees, shrubs, and hedges bordering the public domain, ensure compliance with regulations and standards for road maintenance, coordinate with other municipal services, manage budgets and resources, develop and implement strategies for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Road Service, maintain good relationships with stakeholders, including residents, businesses, and local authorities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering or a related field, excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, experience in project management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
