Job Summary and Qualifications The Registered Nurse can be expected to: • Provide high-quality patient care that is centered on the individual needs of each patient. • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans. • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes. • Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. • Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. • Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. • Possess strong critical thinking and analytical skills. • Be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly. • Possess a valid RN license and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). • Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience as an RN, preferably in an ICU or similar setting. • Possess a strong understanding of the principles of patient-centered care and the importance of cultural sensitivity. • Be able to work effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds and cultures. • Possess excellent organizational and time management skills. • Be able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. • Possess a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration. • Be able to maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment plans. • Possess a strong understanding of the importance of patient safety and the role that RNs play in maintaining it. • Be able to work effectively with patients who have complex medical conditions or are experiencing acute illness. • Possess excellent leadership and mentoring skills. • Be able to provide education and support to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. • Possess a strong understanding of the principles of evidence-based practice and the importance of staying current with best practices in nursing care. • Be able to work effectively with patients who have cognitive or physical impairments. • Possess excellent critical thinking and analytical skills. • Be able to maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment plans. • Possess a strong understanding of the importance of patient-centered care and the role that RNs play in maintaining it.
