Risk Underwriter

We are seeking a skilled Risk Underwriter to join our team in Watermael-Boitsfort, Belgium. As a Risk Underwriter, you will play a crucial role in assessing and managing risks associated with insurance policies, particularly in the credit insurance sector. You will be responsible for evaluating financial information, making informed underwriting decisions, and contributing to the overall risk management strategy of our organisation.

Your role will be :

- Carry out the underwriting and participate in risk management:

· Commit Coface by setting credit limits within the scope of your delegations,

· Monitor commitments,

· Manage the evolution of ‘sensitive’ risks

· Develop and share your sector expertise

- Contribute to the quality of commercial relations with clients and brokers:

· Explain and justify underwriting decisions,

· Arrange meetings with clients, brokers and prospects on or off the premises,

· Establish yourself as a decision-maker with your contacts,

· Contributes to and ensures the quality of the team's prospect studies and client meetings,
