As part of a major project, we are seeking a Risk Management Lead. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive risk management framework from program inception, tailored to the delivery of large-scale mining projects.
- Facilitating risk identification, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and mitigation planning across all project phases.
- Maintaining and managing risk registers, ensuring risks are properly assessed, categorized, and updated.
- Acting as an excellent communicator, challenging established practices, promoting efficiency, and clearly conveying key issues and messages to senior management and the board.
- Demonstrating proven experience in conducting integrated schedule and cost risk analyses (QSRA and QCRA).
- Performing advanced risk modeling (e.g., Monte Carlo simulations) to support contingency planning and decision-making.
- Integrating risk information into project controls, including cost and schedule forecasting.
- Delivering clear, actionable risk reports and dashboards to management and stakeholders.
- Organizing and facilitating risk workshops, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with mining industry best practices and regulatory standards for risk governance.
