Sewer Technician

Are you a go-getter who enjoys varied work and doesn't shy away from a technical challenge? For a client, we are looking for a Sewer Technician. In this role, you will ensure that sewage systems continue to function optimally. You will work both independently and with colleagues on diverse maintenance, repair, and inspection tasks.

As a Sewer Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of indoor and outdoor sewage systems. You will identify faults, resolve blockages and leaks, and ensure that work is carried out safely, neatly, and in accordance with applicable quality standards.

Your tasks will include:

• Inspecting and maintaining sewage and drainage systems;
• Resolving blockages, leaks, and subsidence;
• Replacing and repairing sewer components and connections;
• Working with high-pressure equipment, cleaning machines, and unblocking agents;
• Recording completed work in digital systems or work orders;
• Identifying deviations and advising on potential follow-up work;
• Communicating in a customer-friendly manner with residents, companies, and clients;
• Ensuring a safe, clean, and tidy workplace after completing the work.
• You will work according to applicable safety and environmental regulations and have an eye for quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

For this position, we are looking for an enthusiastic craftsman or craftswoman who likes to roll up their sleeves.

We require:

• A completed MBO (vocational) education in Installation Technology, Civil Engineering, or a comparable technical education;
• Experience with sewer technology, maintenance, and repair work is a plus;
• Knowledge of materials, machines, and cleaning methods;
• A valid VCA certificate or the willingness to obtain it through us;
• Driver's license B (BE is a plus);
• An independent and solution-oriented work attitude;
• Good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude;
• A sense of responsibility and an eye for safety;
• Willingness to perform physical labor and, if necessary, be on standby for call-outs.
