Job Summary
The Rigger Foreman is responsible for supervising all rigging and lifting activities on the drilling ship. This role ensures that cargo handling, lifting operations, and rigging tasks are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with international and company standards.

The Rigger Foreman is responsible for supervising all rigging and lifting activities on the drilling ship. This role ensures that cargo handling, lifting operations, and rigging tasks are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with international and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all rigging and lifting operations onboard.
- Lead and mentor riggers and roustabouts in safe rigging practices.
- Ensure lifting equipment is inspected, certified, and used properly.
- Plan, organize, and monitor heavy lifting operations in coordination with Crane Operators and Deck Supervisors.
- Enforce compliance with HSE policies, lifting procedures, and company standards.
- Prepare and maintain lifting plans, permits, and operational records.
- Provide training and guidance to junior rigging crew.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Rigger Foreman (or higher position) in offshore drilling or marine projects.
- Experience in offshore drilling projects.
- Strong knowledge of complex and heavy lift operations.
- Ability to prepare lifting plans and conduct toolbox talks.
- Mandatory Certificate:
- Seaman Book.
- Rigging Certificate (valid, per statutory requirements).
- Valid BOSIET/FOET
- Basic H2S Certificate (valid, within 2 years of issuance).
- All other mandatory certificates/trainings required for boarding per Statutory Matrix, Training/Certificate Checklist (BNSP/Kemenaker)
