Your Tasks

• Leadership and coordination of audit teams at conclusion and financial oversight audits
• Steering the entire audit process
• Evaluation and auditing of processes, internal control systems, accounting, and budget execution at cantonal institutions (e.g. taxes, universities, construction, hospitals, police, justice, and more)
• Ensuring timely completion, audit target achievement, and quality connected with monitoring the audit-related controlling
• Creating value and security through professional audit opinions/reports

Your Profile

• Degree in accounting or CIA – or you are about to obtain one
• Experience in external auditing
• Dynamic personality with developed analytical, conceptual, and business thinking combined with high social competence
• Independent working style, high quality awareness
• Pleasure in interdisciplinary cooperation with IT auditors, construction auditors, and lawyers

About Financial Control

Do you know us? The Financial Control is the supreme specialist organ of financial oversight. As a competent and reliable partner to Parliament, Government, Administration, and Justice, it is the goal of Financial Control, together with around 24 specialized experts, to create added value while ensuring security and trust. As an independent auditor, Financial Control audits, among other things, the annual accounts of the Canton with a balance sheet total of around CHF 12 million. The financial oversight of Financial Control includes auditing the orderliness and legality as well as the economy of budget execution, and in connection with subsidies, the appropriateness of expenditure.
