CNC Grinder

Agency for Labor Osmosi S.p.A., Branch of Seregno, is seeking a CNC Grinder for an important company that produces metal tools for the mechanical industry, medical sector, automotive, and other high-tech applications. The selected candidate will report to the production manager and have the following Main Responsibilities: - Perform grinding operations on high-precision metal components, in accordance with technical designs and production specifications. - Configure and set up grinding machines, selecting tools and setting work parameters as needed. - Operate manual and/or CNC-controlled grinding machines to achieve required surface finishes. - Program CNC and preferably CAD/CAM. - Load and unload parts from the machine, ensuring safety during operations. - Perform dimensional and quality control checks on worked parts, using specific measurement tools and recording any non-conformities. - Carry out routine maintenance of machines and tools, reporting malfunctions and complex intervention needs. - Keep the work area clean and organized. Requirements: - High school diploma or vocational qualification in mechanical field. - Previous experience as a grinder, preferably on hard metals. - Ability to read and interpret detailed mechanical drawings and technical sheets. - Knowledge of main grinding machines (manual and/or CNC) and related tools. - Competence in using precision measurement instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers). - Precision, attention to detail, and strong orientation towards quality. - Ability to work independently and respect deadlines. - Good manual skills and problem-solving ability.
