About the Role
This is a part-time retail position, working hours between Friday to Monday. You’ll be part of a small, supportive team where your contribution makes a real difference.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing professional, friendly service to customers in-store, over the phone, and via email
- Using our computer-based systems to process sales and manage stock accurately
- Maintaining showroom standards, unpacking and assembling products for display
- Assisting customers with advice and recommendations on outdoor power equipment
- Friday & Monday: approx. 8 hours each
- Saturday: 9am – 4pm
- Sunday: 10am – 4pm
We are seeking the following types of candidates:
- Students: Ideally in your first or second year of university (we’re not seeking high school students)
- Semi-retired applicants: Someone with past experience in outdoor power equipment, landscaping, or mechanical trades would be a great fit who enjoy staying active and engaged
- Ideally suited for individuals looking for part time with flexible working hours
- Reliability and strong organisational skills
- Confidence using computer systems for sales transactions
- A friendly, approachable manner and willingness to help others
- A positive attitude and ability to work independently
