Retail Sales Assistant

What will you do?

We are looking for a retail sales assistant for our client in Bergschenhoek. The position is full-time, 25.5 hours per week. As a retail sales assistant, you will help customers and perform various tasks assigned by the store manager, including:

• Operating cash registers;
• Pricing and labeling products;
• Promoting products;
• Filling and organizing shelves;
• Caring for inventory, such as watering plants;
• Maintaining a clean and organized store.

The workdays are divided from Monday to Saturday, including evenings and holidays. Normal working days (Monday to Friday) are from 8:45 am to 6:15 pm. Saturdays are from 8:45 am to 5:15 pm, and evening shifts are from 10:15 am to 8:15 pm.

The employer is looking for someone who does not wear visible tattoos or piercings.

Our client is 30 years old and is a real family business. In the meantime, seven locations have been realized, which mainly focus on the sale of flowers, plants, decorative materials, and animal feed. The most important principle is: deliver quality at low prices. Both procurement and transport are in-house. The best quality is purchased directly from the auction house at the most favorable price. This results in a limited but changing assortment that is interesting for pricing.
