Retail Sales Assistant (Supermarket)
Location: Birmingham
Hours: Full‑time (40 hours per week)
Start: Immediate
Shifts: Flexible – Mornings & Evenings available
About the Role

Key Responsibilities
As a Retail Sales Assistant you will:
Greet and assist customers with queries and product requests
Maintain high standards of store presentation and cleanliness
Stock shelves, rotate products, and ensure pricing is correct
Operate tills/Point of Sale systems accurately and efficiently
Support loss prevention and health & safety procedures
Assist colleagues and supervisors with daily store tasks
Provide fast, friendly and efficient service on the shop floor
What You’ll Get

40‑hour work weeks with a paid 1‑hour lunch break

Pay Rates & Salary
Average hourly rate: ~£14 per hour
Estimated full‑time annual salary: ~£28,000
Start & Progression
This is an immediate start position. Passionate performers can progress into Team Leader, Shift Supervisor and Management pathways with structured development and leadership training.
