Retail Operations Head - FMCG

Retail Operations Head to oversee and manage the end-to-end operations of our multi-store retail chain in Madurai. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth store operations, drive sales performance, optimize inventory, implement SOPs, manage teams, and ensure excellent customer experience across all outlets.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of all retail outlets in the region
  

• Monitor store performance, sales targets, footfall, conversion rates, and profitability
  

• Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  

• Manage store managers, supervisors, sales staff, and support teams
  

• Drive visual merchandising, brand standards, and store presentation
  

• Ensure optimum inventory planning, stock availability, and shrinkage control
  

• Plan and execute retail promotions, offers, and seasonal campaigns
  

• Conduct store audits and operational reviews
  

• Ensure excellent customer service and handle escalations
  

• Coordinate with supply chain, HR, marketing, and finance teams
  

• Implement training programs for staff performance improvement
  

• Drive new store openings, expansion plans, and process improvements
  

• Monitor competition and execute strategies to improve market share
  

• Ensure compliance with statutory and company policies
