Dewan & Saeed Trading Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated individual to manage day-to-day operations at their Glenroy Spice Mart, Glenroy, VIC, a specialty store known for its authentic South Asian groceries and warm community atmosphere.

Your Role

As our Retail Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing store operations, driving sales, and ensuring excellent customer experiences. Your responsibilities will include:

 Selecting the appropriate product range, monitoring stock levels, and setting service Standards

Standards

 Developing and executing purchasing and marketing strategies, including pricing decisions

 Advertising and promoting the store’s products and services

 Assisting customers and advising them on product selection and use

 Maintaining accurate records of inventory and financial transactions

 Preparing budgets and monitoring financial performance

 Leading recruitment, training, and supervision of store staff

 Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations

What we are looking for

 Qualifications: A minimum Diploma in Business, Retail, or Management

 Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in a retail management role, preferably in the grocery or specialty food sector

 Leadership: Strong leadership, staff management, and problem-solving skills

 Customer Service: Commitment to providing outstanding customer experiences

 Organisation: Proven ability to manage inventory, budgets, and compliance requirements

 Flexibility: Availability to work weekends and public holidays, as required

What we offer

 Competitive Salary: $76,000 – $82,000 per annum (excluding superannuation), based on experience and qualifications
