The outlet provides petrol, diesel, and premium fuels, along with a small shop offering snacks, drinks, and automotive essentials. Strategically located on the north-west edge of Ballarat in Miners Rest, it operates as a practical refueling and rest stop, combining everyday community utility with accessibility for drivers. The station is operated by Parkd Enterprises Pty Ltd, which manages its day-to-day business and ensures service delivery to the local community and passing motorists.

A retail manager’s purpose is to oversee the daily operations of a store, ensuring smooth functioning, profitability, and customer satisfaction. They are responsible for managing staff, monitoring sales performance, maintaining inventory levels, and implementing company policies.

• Staff Management: Recruiting, training, scheduling, and motivating employees to deliver strong customer service.
• Sales & Performance: Monitoring daily sales, setting targets, and implementing strategies to boost revenue.
• Customer Service: Ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience, handling complaints, and maintaining service standards.
• Inventory Control: Overseeing stock levels, ordering supplies, preventing shortages or overstock, and managing product displays.
• Financial Oversight: Managing budgets, controlling costs, and ensuring profitability.
• Compliance & Safety: Enforcing company policies, health and safety regulations, and maintaining a secure store environment.
• Operational Efficiency: Coordinating store operations, ensuring smooth workflows, and adapting to business needs.

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in business administration, retail management, marketing, or a related field is often preferred, equivalent experience.
• Diploma in Education (or equivalent qualification), demonstrating ability to train, mentor, and develop staff effectively.
• Experience:1-2 years of experience in retail, customer service, or supervisory roles is usually required, with proven ability to manage teams and meet sales targets.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential. Knowledge of inventory systems, point-of-sale technology, and financial management adds value.
