Pay Rate: $15.00/hr - $24.30/hr plus commission depending on background and experience. POSITION OVERVIEW: Guitar Center embodies the world of creativity, self-expression, and the thrill of the unknown. As a Retail Guitar Repair Tech, you will be the go-to expert for all things guitar, amp, and effects. You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a wide range of instruments and equipment, from acoustic guitars to electric basses, and from vintage amps to modern pedals. You will also be expected to provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, and making recommendations to customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols, and meeting productivity and quality standards. REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of experience in guitar repair or a related field preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
