Retail Category Planner

As a Retail Category Planner, you will be responsible for planning and managing categories across various retailers, ensuring that products are properly categorized, and that the right products are being offered to customers. You will work closely with our team of experts to develop category plans that drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase retail sustainability. Your key responsibilities will include: • Developing and implementing category plans for various retailers, taking into account their specific needs and goals. • Conducting market research and analyzing data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the retail landscape. • Collaborating with our team of experts to develop and refine category plans, ensuring that they align with the company’s overall strategy. • Providing expert advice and guidance to retailers on how to optimize their product offerings and improve customer satisfaction. • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve your skills and knowledge. The ideal candidate will have: • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing, or retail management. • At least 3 years of experience in category planning, product development, or a related field. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with retailers, colleagues, and other stakeholders. • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and motivation. • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
