Seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the team and ensure the smooth operation of a beautiful Melbourne rooftop venue. The ideal candidate will have proven passion for the industry, excellent leadership skills, and experience in managing a high-volume, upscale dining establishment.

• Oversee daily operations of the restaurant.
• Manage and train staff to provide exceptional service to guests.
• Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality.
• Lead by example and motivate and inspire the team.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
• Monitor stock levels and manage ordering and purchasing.
• Be able to manage labour costs, rosters and POS.
• Coordinate with the kitchen to create a well rounded and strong team.

About you:

• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in an upscale, high end restaurant.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and genuine people skills.
• The ability to move at pace and stay cool under pressure.
• Strong knowledge and interest in wine and cocktails.
• Solid understanding of all costings related to running a busy restaurant.
