Responsible for Food Services
Temporary position managing food services at a law firm. 6-month contract in Montreal. Competitive salary (60-65k). Supervise team, coordinate caterers, variable hours according to needs. Strategic role in a bilingual professional environment.
This is what you'll get:
• Temporary full-time contract for 6 months.
• Salary between $33 and $35 per hour.
• Normal working week of 35 hours. As a manager, possibility to work beyond this schedule according to operational needs (including evenings).
• Non-admissible position for overtime.
• Dynamic, rigorous, and bilingual environment at a top-tier law firm.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the work of food service staff and janitorial services, including hours, replacements, and vacations.
• Plan menus with various caterers, place orders, and coordinate equipment rentals if necessary.
• Ensure service during meals and events at the law firm (lunches, dinners, suppers, receptions).
• Maintain cleanliness of conference rooms, coffee corners, cafeteria, and internal lounge.
• Stock coffee corners with food products, dishes, and required accessories.
• Monitor the functioning of kitchen equipment and common areas.
• Manage expenses related to food services.
You'll need:
• Degree from the Institut de tourisme et d'hôtellerie du Québec or equivalent.
• 10-15 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a professional or legal environment.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English.
• Bilingual in English and French to assist clients in both languages.
• Strong sense of customer service and attention to detail.
• Solid interpersonal skills and ability to resolve problems quickly.
• Team spirit, proactivity, and adaptability to a changing environment.
• Developed organizational skills with ability to set priorities.
• Mastery of Microsoft Outlook and common office tools.
