Technical Responsible – Wind Projects

The Technical Responsible or Coordinator ensures the coordination and execution of various technical disciplines related to wind projects. He/she ensures compliance with civil, mechanical, and/or electrical technical requirements. He/she collaborates with project managers, quality assurance representatives, superintendents, estimators, clients, etc.



Requirements

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Ensure technical excellence and accuracy of projects in collaboration with the construction team on work sites;
  • Manage interfaces with technical partners, track various mandates (engineering, professional services, construction, etc.), and monitor engineering and technical assistance processes during project execution;
  • Serve as an internal expert for resolving technical issues and preparing submissions or commercial disputes;
  • Prepare status reports related to the technical aspects of the project;
  • Ensure final engineering alignment with plans and bid documents;
  • Notify professionals of changes and request costs;
  • Participate in placing critical material orders and preparing contract documents, in collaboration with the project manager;
  • Coordinate and participate in various technical meetings;
  • Establish and maintain necessary communications with professionals and clients.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in civil, electrical, mechanical engineering or other relevant disciplines;
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience;
  • Bilingualism (English-French) is mandatory;
  • Ability to travel to construction sites.
