Head of Accounting Department H/F

As a manager, your main mission will be to contribute to the achievement of objectives, by steering the activity, supporting employees and evolving the professions. The team currently consists of two evolving poles: - The 'management' pole: composed of one expert and one accounting manager; - The 'technical' pole: composed of one team leader, one expert and one accounting manager. Reporting to the Delegate of the Chief Accounting and Financial Officer, you will have to build the foundations of a solid collective, both committed and supportive. Your missions will be: - Manage, organize and lead your team by fostering involvement, initiative and autonomy, by setting collective and individual objectives aligned with national deadlines; - Develop your team's skills and support the evolution of the service's professions, ensuring continuous skill development; - Steer the operational implementation of the department's projects and mobilize on the cross-functional projects of the organization and the network; - Ensure rigorous steering of processes through the monitoring of key indicators and reporting, by alerting management in case of deviation and by proposing concrete corrective actions; - Conduct continuous improvement actions to optimize process efficiency and strengthen service quality; - Guarantee the rigorous and secure management of public funds in compliance with budgetary, analytical, accounting rules and internal control mechanisms; - Organize and supervise the closing and certification of accounts in conjunction with your management, ensuring compliance with national deadlines and the quality of deliverables. As an accountant, you will actively participate in the operational missions of the service: - Maintain the organization's general accounting; - Monthly closing operations; - Supervise controls related to the Chief Accounting and Financial Officer's Control Plan; - Approval of orders, You will provide support on complex files and ensure the review of key work.
